Nordson Asymtek IR-Convection ovens are produced by Thermatech of France, in one of their European facilities, thus reducing associated transport costs to reach our Central – Eastern European market.

Excluding specials 5 lengths of curing oven are produced ranging from the small 2.4M length curing area oven to the 6.6M length curing area oven.

Curing length requirements for your production needs are calculated by knowledge on the following variable

Curing characteristics (in time) of your selected material
Cycle time of your coating cell (if selectively coating) or coating process (per board or carrier)

Infra Red Panels are located on the top of the curing oven and through electro magnetic radiation (light energy) they cure the coated material. The wave length selected by our systems allows for the curing of the bottom (inner) of the material first. (This naturally means that that the top of the material WOULD BE the last to cure if no convection was used).

Termatech

Convection (the moving of heat by a medium) is on all oven models and is done on the smaller length ovens by bottom extraction points in the oven whilst on larger length ovens additional top blowers are used (as well as the bottom extractors) to create forced convection for the same end result.
The net result is that this allows for the heat generated to be drawn down which

Allows the curing of the top of the material and
Allows for the safe removal of the gas and vapors circulating in the oven. (due to the flammability of the solvents in the coated material)
