The need for traceability is growing Year by Year with the demands (especially in the automotive industry) that all areas of the assembly process from receipt of bare board through the various assembly processes to final product is logged and can be traced in case of fault.
Marking of the board is therefore critical to the process with the growth of high speed laser marking cells becoming the preferred solution to print and label marking.
FlexLink has introduced a new state-of-the-art laser marking cell. The new module, the F5000L is used in applications where products need an identification mark for tracking or recognition.
